Greetings

Another year has come and gone, and we have some significant updates for you.

Kim and I are happy to announce the arrival of our 12th grandchild, Scarlett Grace.

We look forward to an exceptional season with a great supply of beautiful trees. Although we may not have 10 foot trees yet, we are gradually getting more 8-9 foot trees. We have so many trees ready to go that we are committed to being open at least three weekends (through December 13) and possibly longer.

With a little more time between Thanksgiving and Christmas this year, we hope more families will consider waiting until December to pick out their tree. We have plenty of beautiful trees to choose from, and waiting a little longer means your tree will be that much fresher for Christmas.

As always, we will be open on Black Friday and weekends from 9 AM until 4:30 PM. While we are not normally open during the week, we are happy to accommodate visitors who call ahead to make an appointment. If you’re planning to tailgate during your visit, please give us a call in advance to make a reservation.

Of course, no visit to the farm would be complete without our fresh kettle corn and free hot chocolate! Unfortunately, this year brings a change to one of our longtime traditions. Erin has decided not to offer her fresh-baked treats this season. Over the years, her delicious baked goods and friendly presence have become a special part of the experience here at Abel’s, and she will certainly be missed. While we’re sad to see this tradition come to an end, we’re excited to welcome Linda Cronk of Qwirky Kakes to the farm. Linda will be offering a wonderful selection of fresh-baked sweets and savory snacks for everyone to enjoy.

 

All trees are $90 this year. Just a friendly reminder we are cash or check only.
