Greetings from the Abels

The holiday season is here again and we look forward to seeing you and your family soon.

Last year I announced the imminent arrival of Grandchild #9. Ahana arrived on December 8, 2018 and is a bundle of joy and happiness. We are now awaiting the arrival of #10. Ryan, Jenn, and Maya are expecting their addition in mid-December.

Once again, I am happy with our selection of trees. We have thousands available in the 6-8 foot range. We also have a large number in the 12-15 foot range. The price will remain unchanged at $55 again this year.

Last year, with all the rain and early snow, we had some issues with mud on our farm roads and in the parking areas. We hope to have rectified that problem by spreading multiple loads of stone throughout these areas.

Remember we have tailgating areas set aside so you can park with friends if you come in caravan. If you will be coming in a large group, please try to announce your plans in advance if possible, and notify us when you arrive so we can guide you to the best parking areas.

As always, we will continue to provide wagon rides, wreaths, tree stands, free hot chocolate, and of course, Erin’s tasty treats and kettle corn to purchase. My wife, Kim, has been working hard all year on her homemade soaps and other crafts, which will be on display and available for sale.

We are very pleased that Copper Star Alpaca Farm and Small Paws Farm will be bringing alpacas to visit each weekend again this year. It should be a great opportunity to learn about alpacas and also get some great photos.

We will be open Black Friday and then all weekends until Christmas. Appointments may also be scheduled during weekdays if you can’t make it here on weekends. We have had several calls from people wondering if they can come for a tree before Thanksgiving. We are open to any requests, but please reach out in advance so we can be prepared.

Please call 845-677-6395 with questions or of course check here at the web site.

Best wishes from everyone at Abel’s Trees.
Steve Abel and family
